These pen trays are made from beautifully figured walnut/rosewood with complex and stunning grain patterns.  Like the grain itself, the wood leans toward the wild side and is very difficult to work with.  Consequently, these trays will have more imperfections in the surface than a standard walnut/rosewood tray.  At Nagomi Woodworking, we embrace these imperfections as part of the delight and charm of this wood.  You may notice the surface of the tray to be slightly textured to the touch in places, small dimples in the wood surface, and minor cosmetic imperfections.  If you have questions and want close up photos of any of the items, please let me know in advance of ordering.

With dimensions of 6 7/8 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide, and 3/4 inches tall, the Shizuku tray offers a refined, compact solution for keeping your pens organized while adding a touch of understated luxury to your desk.  Each slot is precisely crafted to fit pens up to 6 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inches wide.

We maintain strict quality control and will only ship pieces with significant imperfections if they are explicitly mentioned in the description.
